Tiny Museums, Big Ideas
Thursday Inspiration
Little museums are full of inspiration. Stories of fabled townspeople and long lost towns. If you find a docent to tell you the stories, the objects come alive. This is part of the museum in Fossil, Oregon, which I’ve visited multiple times. Last time, I found out that there’s an entire town nearby that no longer exists. Not even a nail.
As you may already know, Fossil inspired the town of Settler in the Rifters series. While the story of the lost town won’t make it into the series, it very well may make it into a future story. Hm. Most likely.
What inspires you this week?

I never pass up a tiny museum. They are chock full of local history. I even visited one in the Sahara Desert where I least expected to see one. It was amazing. Love this post.
Hi Mary - love the idea of tiny museums … great fun … create one’s own. I’m about to start off blogging properly and entertain myself … cheers and thanks for showing us - Hilary
